This policy explains what information the Royal Flood mobile game ("the app"), made by Bamboom Games ("we"), collects and how it is used. Bamboom Games is run by Semih Tamerer as a sole proprietorship in Istanbul, Türkiye, who is the data controller for the app. Our postal address is on our Legal page.
No account, no personal details
The app has no sign-up or login. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location or payment information.
Data saved on your device
Your game progress, settings, coins, boosters and Daily League points are stored only on your device. Deleting the app removes them.
Anonymous analytics
To understand how the game is played and to improve its levels, the app uses GameAnalytics. It receives:
- a random device identifier (on iOS the "identifier for vendor"; it is not the advertising identifier);
- gameplay events, such as levels started, won or failed, boosters used, tutorials completed and session length;
- basic technical information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, language and country (derived from the network connection).
This data is not linked to your identity, is not sold and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. GameAnalytics processes it on our behalf; see the GameAnalytics privacy policy.
Time check
To keep the Daily League fair, the app reads the current time from a public web server (apple.com or google.com). Only the time is read; no information about you is sent.
Advertising
The app is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob: a banner on the level screen and optional rewarded videos you choose to watch for extra lives or coins. To show and measure ads, Google may receive:
- the advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) – on iOS only if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt;
- device and network information such as device model, operating system, IP address and approximate (country/city level) location;
- information about ads shown and tapped.
If you do not allow tracking, you still see ads, but they are not personalised using your activity in other apps and websites. Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Consent
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form before ads are personalised. On iOS the app then explains tracking and shows Apple's tracking prompt. You can change your ad consent at any time from Settings → Privacy in the game, and your tracking choice in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Notifications
After level 10 the app may ask to send notifications, for example when your lives are full or the Daily League is ending. They are optional and you can turn them off any time in your device settings. Notifications are scheduled on your device.
Reporting an ad
If you see an ad that is inappropriate, email us at info@bamboomgames.com with a short description or a screenshot and we will block it.
Children
The app is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the app and want related data removed, contact us.
Your choices and rights
You can reset the identifier used for analytics by deleting and reinstalling the app, reset your advertising identifier in your device settings, and change ad consent from Settings → Privacy in the game. To ask a question, or to request access to or deletion of data linked to your device, email us; we answer within 30 days. Analytics data is kept for up to 2 years and then deleted.
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, "KVKK"), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to its processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
